• Rudy came to the United States from Czechoslovakia, where studied Medicine, on the day of its invasion by Soviet troops in 1968. His "American " life started in Ann Arbor, MI, where he received a scholarship at the University of Michigan
• As soon as he learned English, however, he started his career in the Real Estate industry. After a few years as a salesman he became a successful builder, realtor and developer in Ann Arbor, Lansing and Detroit areas.
• In 1981 he visited Laguna Beach, fell in love with the town and has lived here ever since.
• Before joining the Coldwell Banker Brokerage, Rudy worked for many years in the mortgage banking industry. This background together with his building and home design experience from Michigan, proved to be invaluable assets in his Real Estate career in Southern California.
• Rudy's outgoing personality gained him a lot of friends, and turned into friends the ever growing list of his clientele. He is consistently a multimillion dollar producer, representing both buyers and the sellers.
• The social and cultural growth of Orange County is very important to Rudy. Being an Arts lover he has been very active and supportive member of O.C. cultural icons such as Orange County Performing Arts Center, Pacific Symphony, Philharmonic Society of O.C. and especially Opera Pacific where he actually appeared in several operas as a supernumerary.
• Rudy actively supports Charitable organisations such as Very Special Arts, program for disabled artists, Imagination Celebration, artistic youth program. Especially close to his heart is Orange County Child Abuse Prevention Center, that as its name implies, improves lives of children and prevents potential tragedies in families at risk, and the M.I.N.D Institute, that through an inventive program improves learning potential of school age children.
